What a great tournament we had this year…today was the final fishing day of the 29th Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament. Thank you so much to all of our participants. Today we had the Reliance, with Captain Jay Watson, Mate Justin Walters and anglers Lee Collins, Jay Johnson, John Kerr, James McCarthy, Dave Pirrung, Steve Stephano bring in a 417lb blue marlin!! Congratulations to the Reliance!! Keep up to date by checking out the offical tournament website… www.pcbgt.com they have all the information regarding the tournament and leaderboards. We will not have an offical winner announced until awards tonight at 9:30pm located in the Pavilion! See you there:)
The inlet boat had great catches of trout, nearshore brought back triggerfish, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, and dolphin back to the docks. The wreck fishing was awesome as usual with plenty of seabass and tilefish for their anglers. Offshore charters had limits of tilefish and dolphin! Today was an amazing day overall with the tournament fishing and charter fishing! We are sad to see everyone go, safe travels back home and please come back and visit us again!
