Our offshore charters went billfish fishing today! There were mixed releases of white marlin and sailfish off of all of our boats today! A Salt Weapons crew, the Vandergrifts, released three white marlins and two sailfish! Haphazard’s crew, the Holders, released three white marlin and a sailfish. Off of First Crack, Kevin Lane, released a white marlin, Rachel Krahenbill released two sailfish and a white marlin, Jason Krahenbill released two white marlin, David Turner released a white marlinand Kevin Perry released a white marlin and a sailfish! What an awesome day for that crew! Goin’ Deep’s angler Kay Patrick released two white marlins, and Thomas Patrick released a sailfish, in addition some other anglers on their trip released another white and two sails! The Sandra D had four white marlin releases and three sailfish releases, two of which were caught by a 13 year old Sara Ericson. Congratulations to everyone!!! The offshore fleet also had some catches of tuna, gaffer dolphin, and wahoo. Nearshore fleet had a nice day out as well reeling in bluefish and Spanish mackerel!
