Another beautiful – if slightly windy – day on the Outer Banks and a great day for marlin fishing. The Offshore fleet caught-and-released no fewer than 15 white marlin aalong with several yellowfin tuna to complete the day’s catch. The Nearshore boats were rewarded with bluefish and spanish mackerel and one boat had a limit catch of bailer dolphin no further than 5 miles offshore. Make a note: Live music at Mimi’s Tiki Hut every Tuesday and Friday 4:30 – 7:00 PM so stop by and enjoy the tune and a cool drink while watching the fleet come up the creek.
