The Nearshore fleet today had good catches of bluefish, flounder, red drum and cobia. Several citation red drum were caught.
Aboard the Sea Hunter 2, Jeff Sortisio received a citation for his 47" Red Drum which was released. Aboard Marauder, Shawn Luff caught a released a 42" Red Drum,Josh Evanish, Brandon Luff and Alan Evanish all caught and released citation size Red Drum. One of the boats had their limit of Tilefish and a few Dolphin (mahi).
The Offshore fleet brought in Dolphin and Tuna. There were 5 White Marlin and 1 Blue Marlin released aboard Haphazard. Hogwild caught and released 2 White Marlin as well. Charles Hopmann fishing aboard the Sea Scout caught and released a Sailfish. Fishing aboard the Double B, Blake Smith received a citation for a 36 pound Dolphin; he, Austin Boyd, and Dorian Clark all caught and released White Marlin. Congratulations to all Anglers!
