After a report of some billfish in the area the offshore fleet switched their gear to target marlin today! The fleet reported releasing a good number of white marlin as well as putting some dolphin in the box. Don’t be fooled there were still some tuna to be caught today as well! Nearshore reports consisted of limits of amberjacks and tilefish as well as spanish mackerel and seabass. Anglers in the sound this morning had plenty of action with catch and release stripers and reported “good trout fishing” with a total of 5 keeper trout caught. Fishing has been pretty good and we are hopeful that it will only improve as we move into August. Don’t miss an opportunity to get “hooked up” with the best and book your trip today!!! Reservations can be made online or by calling the booking desk at 252. 473.3906.
