Shift in wind direction made for some interesting fishing today. The Nearshore fleet brought in the Spanish Mackerel and bluefish today. The northeast wind is bringing in some warmer water temps. Water temp at the Diamond Shoals buoy is 83 degrees.
The Offshore fleet brought in limits of Dolphin (mahi) and some billfish. Jackson Fields (13 years old) of Greensboro NC caught and released his 1st white Marlin aboard the Obsession. Great Fishing Jackson!
Jeffrey Dean from Harrisonburg VA caught and released a Sailfish aboard the Bi-Op-Sea. Another White Marlin was caught and released by Alan Jansoht of York PA aboard the Hog Wild.
