Nearshore boats this morning had good catches of bluefish, amberjack, and Spanish mackerel. The Offshore fleet had good catches again of Mahi. Billfish were released as well today.
Bernie Barron of PA fishing aboard the Obsession released a beautiful Blue Marlin weighing around 400 pounds. They also had their limit catch of Mahi. The party aboard the Bi-Op-Sea released a white Marlin and had a nice 40 pound gaffer Mahi along with limit of bailers. The First Crack’s fishing party also had a good day with their limit of dolphin. Brian Orwig from Newport News, VA caught and released a White Marlin. Congratulations to all fishing parties today. A young angler, Alex Beane from Royal Oak Maryland, caught a citation Dolphin today weighing in at 55 pounds aboard a private boat.
