WOW,,, the offshore and nearshore fleet had active trips today with great catches. The Nearshore Fleet had good morning and afternoon trips with good catches of Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. One boat this afternoon had a great time with a school of Red Drum that were mixed in with scattered Cobia. Citations for Red Drum Releases were issued to: Ryan Calderwood of Mercer PA for a 43" Red Drum and to Nathan Brest of Mercer of PA for a 42" Red Drum Release. The Offshore fleet all had great catches of gaffer Mahi with a few yellowfin tuna mixed in. The billfish action picked up today! One offshore boat had 5 bluemarlin bites today, bringing one in to the boat. There were 4 White Marlin Releases and 2 Sailfish Releases making the trips exciting for all parties involved.
