Nasty thunderstorms were a concern early morning but moved out in plenty of time; giving way to a beautiful afternoon. Our offshore fleet returned to report yellowfin, gaffers, with sailfish, and blue marlin releases. A 195 pound citation big eye was caught by Kalyn Green. Fishing nearshore today was phenomenal! Captain’s report triggerfish, amberjack, bluefish, spanish mackerel, and some mahi. Shark fishing was good at the inlet and was accompanied by bluefish and spanish mackerel. Father’s day is right around the corner and fishing trips make a great gift for dad! Book your trip today either online or by calling the booking desk at 252.473.3906. We would love to help you make memories that last a lifetime!
Tomorrow is the final day of the Big Rock Tournament and due to weather a majority of the boats will be taking their final lay day. As the tournament concludes our charter boats that fished the tournament did well and released blue marlin and white marlin. Currently the “Marlin Gull” is holding onto second place with a 564.8 pound blue marlin.
