It was a popular day for citations here at Pirates Cove. A total of 11 anglers filled out citations for fish nearshore and offshore! Offshore citations for today included a nice 69 pound wahoo caught by Nick and a sailfish release for Gavin. Citation releases nearshore today included red drum between 30-44 inches and a sailfish release. The sailfish was released near the inlet and was a nice addition to a great day full of drum. Reports offshore consisted of yellow fin tuna, dolphin, and two sailfish releases. Nearshore boats caught dolphin, drum, Spanish mackerel, kingfish, and a limit of tilefish! In the bay our shrimping/crabbing/cruising boats reported a good amount of shrimp and a bushel of crabs.
