Great day of fishing here at Pirates Cove Marina! It was an absolutely a beautiful day with highs around 77 degrees! We had one boat out and everyone had a great catch of Yellowfin Tuna as well as Mahi Mahi!

It is Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament week and we have a handful of boats from the marina fishing in Morehead this week! Good luck and tight lines to Haphazard, Marlin Gull, Obsession, Sandra D, Sea Toy and Sushi! The day one update us looking INCREDIBLE we are ecstatic here at Pirates Cove Marina the Marlin Gull just won the Fabulous Fisherman by bringing the first Blue Marlin over 500 pounds!! They are taking home a big old check for $433,500.00 for their 564 pound Blue Marlin that they brought to the docks at 3:45 today!!! Congratulations to Captian Kenny Midgett and Owner Dr. Blakemore we are so happy for you guys KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Tight lines Captains we are wishing all of you the absolute BEST of luck!!
