It was a beautiful day with temperatures around 80 degrees and nice light breeze. Many took advantage of the fantastic weather and went fishing. While the weather was near perfect the fishing slowed just a bit today. We can always count on a good catch of dolphin from our offshore fleet who reported catching their limit or close to of mahi!!! The fleet managed to also sneak in a white marlin release and reported some sailfish action.
Nearshore fishing was excellent today! Full day trips returned with limits of tilefish and limits dolphin as well as a few seabass. On the half day trips reports consisted of flounder, spanish mackerel, and plenty of bluefish.
