Today was a steamer, but the fleet all had a good day fishing. The Nearshore boats had good catches of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and some nice Amberjack. Wreck fishing brought in Mahi, black bass and Tile Fish. Congratulations to Tahlia Tavai of Ellicott City MD and Jacob Byers of Wellsburg WV for their citation size Tilefish.
The Offshore boats had a much smoother ride today and brought in nice catches of Dolphin (mahi-mahi). The Right Hook had some nice dolphin and a 40 pound Wahoo. The fishing party aboard the Obsession had a limit catch of Dolphin , one being a 37 pound Bull Dolphin. They also had a 400 pound Blue Marlin that pulled the hook. Haphazard’s fishing party had their limit of Dolphin and released a White Marlin. Samanna, Hogwild and Hunter all had good catches of Dolphin.
