What’s the best way to escape the hot temperatures we’ve had recently? Get out on the water! While fishing wasn’t as hot as the temperatures today it provided a welcome relief for those who went fishing. Offshore the fleet reported catches of yellowfin tuna, a few gaffers and a wahoo for just under 1000 pounds of fish combined. Some of the fleet decided to billfish today and released a sailfish as well as a blue marlin estimated at about 400 pounds. Nearshore, ½ day groups saw mackerel and drum, while full day groups managed to put some amberjacks and even a cobia in the box. Forecasters are predicting great weather for the rest of the week, take a break from the normal beach routine and bend a rod!!! Book your trip today!!! You can reserve a boat either online or by calling the booking desk. We would love to hear from you.
