It was an unlucky day to be a dolphin or tuna but a great day for our charters. Nearly the entire fleet fished today and all returned with very satisfied customers! Big excitement today on the docks came from a 501 pound blue marlin caught by Chadd & Elyse Johnson on the “HapHazard.” Other boats are still reporting white and blue marlin releases as well. Boxes were full of gaffer dolphin and tuna; including yellow fin. An impressive 51 pound gaffer was muscled in by Matthew King. Even a big eye managed to sneak its way into the box and our report. In total the fish house saw an impressive XXXX pounds of fish. Our Nearshore fleet reports slightly slower cobia fishing today, compared to yesterday, but it was still heavy action. All of the nearshore boats returned with cobia the heaviest weighing 61 pounds.
