Today the Offshore boats were out in force. Despite things still being pretty rough everyone did well. This is the first day we’ve been able to get a large number of boats offshore since the blow started a little less than a week ago. Today although the numbers were a little less than they have been there was a good variety of fish caught. Several Citation Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo were caught today. The big story at the docks today was a Big Blue Marlin brought back to the Docks.
The Inshore fleet did really well today catching good amounts of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. There were several wreck trips today that did outstanding catching Tile fish, Sea bass, and Triggerfish. One Triggerfish was over ten pounds.
