Although it was just a little hotter than yesterday we had phenomenal weather again today! Fishing also seemed to improve today as well!!! Reports offshore consisted of sailfish releases and a total of 925 pounds of yellowfin tuna. ONe of those sailfish releases was a first for Peyton Myers, congrats way to go girl!!! We have been fortunate to have had such great tuna fishing throughout July and into August.We hope that the fish will stick around. Strike while the iron is hot!!! Venturing offshore not your type of trip? That’s okay!!! We also book a variety of nearshore and sound trips. Today our nearshore fleet reported excellent bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing for all of their trips. Although no one caught tilefish or dolphin nearshore today the extended half day and full day trips have been producing these types of reports recently.
