Another beautiful day on the Outer Banks, it’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of August! Our Nearshore fleet returned to the docks with a nice catch of Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. The Offshore fleet returned home that afternoon with flags flying. The Haphazard caught a whopping Grand Slam with one Blue Marlin, 3 White Marlin, and 3 Sailfish! These anglers need a special round of applause because they hooked these fish WITHOUT the help of a mate! Awesome job guys!
Be sure to cheer on our boys participating in the Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament! Look for the Obsession, A-Salt Weapon, Goin’ Deep, Desperado, and Sea Toy on the Leaderboard. Tomorrow is the last day of fishing. Good luck and tight lines!
