Finally beautiful weather and a Saturday, together! Thank goodness!!!! Over half the fleet fished today, so it was a busy night at the docks. Most of our offshore fleet returned with high numbers of gaffer sized Mahi for a total of 1278 pounds. Mahi were not the only species of fish caught today; other fish included a big eye tuna, some wahoo, and a white marlin release. The nearshore fleet had boxes filled with their limit of bluefish, mackerel and even a cobia. Fishing in the sound this morning was good filled with mullet and bluefish action.
