Hot is not just a word to describe the temperature but the fishing too!!! Our offshore fleet was in just before five today because boxes were full and customers were happy!!! It was beautiful weather today, and we anticipate the same for the week ahead. Boxes were full of nice size yellow fin tuna, a few gaffers also made their way into the reports as well, for a total near 1450 pounds of fish. Nearshore crews were just as satisfied with their days. Reports consisted of dolphin, amberjacks, spanish mackerel, and red drum. Congrats to Richard, Ryan, Sean, John, & Emily for their impressive red drum releases today that earned each of them citations.
