Wow, what a great day fishing ! Nearshore boats had good trips this morning with bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing while Shon Hicks aboard the Marauder caught and released a Sailfish on a full day nearshore trip. On the offshore trips there was also plenty of action. Roger Masone fishing aboard the Hog Wild caught a 59 pound Wahoo for a citation as well as mahi-mahi. A family fishing trip aboard the Obsession was packed with excitement for the Eipp family from Syracuse NY. They caught and released 4 white marlin and Shawn Coon of Jamesville NY caught a released a Sailfish. Really striking on the White Marlin was the group fishing aboard the Sea Toy. Jodi and Roger Padgett from Jacksonville NC caught and released 4 white marlin ;Austin and Mike McCoy of Winterville, NC caught and released 2 White Marlin; David Godwin of Goldsboro and Ryan Coleman of Grimesland,NC had white marlin releases and Brad Ingalls of Greenville NC had 3 White Marlin Releases.
