One thing is for sure, we can always count on mahi. Reports across the fleet were consistent in their catches of mahi. Billfish are starting to appear more in the reports and blue marlin and sailfish were both released today. We hope that the billfish keep showing up to make for an exciting tournament! The 33rd Annual Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament will be held August 16-19th and we still have some availability if you wish to fish the tournament!!! Nearshore the fleet all reported steady catches of bluefish, and spanish mackerel as well as happy anglers! Longer trips nearshore have provided anglers with plenty of amberjacks as well.
