Minus a late afternoon shower the weather was beautiful today, with temperatures in the upper 70’s low 80’s. Even the occasional rain shower doesn’t stop us from fishing! With great fishing the last few weeks a good day can seem a little slow. Today, not as much was in the box but captains are still reporting steady catches of tuna and gaffer dolphin. Tuna are here and the action is heavy, however they are just not quite big enough to keep!!! One of our boats had a meat fish slam today which includes a tuna, wahoo, and a dolphin! We saw a total of three wahoo today and a sailfish release even snuck into the report. Nearshore reports consisted of some gaffer dolphin and mackerel. Trout and puppy drum comprised the sound fishing reports. It is a BIG holiday weekend and we are booking fast!
