Another good day for the bill collectors! Today was still quite windy with white caps but the white marlin didn’t seem to mind too much. Six boats headed offshore and accounted for 31 white marlin today. No meat to report by the marlin anglers today. Tomorrow just about every boat in the fleet is booked and the weather promises to be beautiful.
The nearshore fleet ran into good schools of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish today without ever leaving the inlet. All three morning charters had families fishing that included kids who all had a blast. Some good sized flounder are starting to show up in the catches and I hope we will see plenty more very soon.
