Finally, we actually have the chance to put a REAL FISHING REPORT out! It has been quite some time, but we couldn’t be at all more excited to report : YELLOWFIN TUNA!! A few boats went out today, apparently looking for the Bluefin Tuna, but came back with Yellowfin. Sounds great to us. We’re happy to hear that they’re out there!
OREGON INLET is passable, and you can find the latest Army Corps of Engineers Hydrographic Map here : http://www.saw.usace.army.mil/Missions/Navigation/HydrographicSurveys/ManteoOregonInlet.aspx This map is updated at least every two weeks.
