If you want it, we caught it today. It was the first day of the Dare County Boat Builders hosted out of Pirates Cove Marina, so a good number of boats focused on marlin releases today! Offshore reports were full of a variety of species of fish. Crews returned with some yellow fin tuna, plenty of dolphin and reported releasing white marlin, sailfish and a handful of blue marlin. One of the blue marlin released was muscled in by Matt and estimated around 550 pounds. Pretty work Matt!!! Nearshore all reported great spanish mackerel fishing! Full day trips reported limits of tilefish and dolphin. Right now the fishing is holding pretty steady! We are hoping to see even more billfish arrive in the next few weeks and look forward to some great tournaments. Book your trip today availability is becoming limited.
