The first boat I spoke with on the way in from Offshore had 35 gaffer dolphin, 2 Blue Marlin, and 4 White Marlin! That was a pretty good indicator for things to come. We had four head offshore today and they accounted for 35 white marlin releases, two blue marlin, and alot of really nice dolphin. The catch of the was a really nice triple tail on the Girl Today. I honestly did a double take when I saw today’s picture and had to call the captain to confirm that I was indeed looking at a triple tail. That goes to show the diversity of life offshore right now. We had some terrible wind this weekend and its really good to see how fantanstic the fishing was today for them.
We had no nearshore boats fish today but the Ttime really did outstanding on trout again today. We have a lot of boats fishing nearshore and offshore tomorrow and there should be quite a bit to report in tomorrows fishing report. Take care!
