Yet another great day for fishing at The Cove. The Offshore fleet had significant catch-release White Marlins along with gaffer dolphin while the Nearshore fleet hit big on bluefish and spanish mackerel. With hurricane Irene bearing down on us, most of the fleet will be out of the water for the next couple days and Mimi’s Tiki Hut will be closed until next Tuesday. This is a big, dangerous storm and we urge everyone to heed evacuation orders and make preparationsin case of loss of power and/or water. Be safe and we’ll see you fishing again after the weekend.
