It was a beautiful spring day on the Outer Banks, and the fish are biting!
The Offshore fleet had a good day with Yellowfin Tuna being the main ingredient today. Highlights for the day included a fight on a Fifty for a big Bluefin Tuna on the Sandra D. The fish made over a dozen runs, but they finally got it to the boat. At about 95” it was too big to keep, but it makes for a great fish story! The Obsession reported a “Meatfish” Grand Slam, bringing in about a dozen Yellowfin Tuna, a Wahoo and a couple of Dolphin. The other boats had about 150-350 pounds each, all Yellowfin Tuna.
